Mug Brownie

Whoever discovered that you can make a mini brownie in the microwave in less than one minutes with only a few dishes to clean is an absolute genius and deserves an award. I won’t say the mug version is better than a freshly baked tray of brownies, because that’s truly one of life’s greatest pleasures. But it comes pretty damn close.

This one comes together in less than 5 minutes, is extremely fudgy and chocolatey, and will satisfy that “I want a brownie but am too lazy to make a full batch of them right now” mood.

Here’s how to make it:

Ingredients

3 Tbsp all-purpose flour

2 Tbsp sugar

2 Tbsp cocoa powder

1.5 Tbsp oil

3 Tbsp milk of choice

1/4 tsp vanilla extract

A pinch of salt

As many choco chips as your heart desires 🤎

Instructions

Add all ingredients to a mug and whisk together until just combined and no more clumps of flour or cocoa powder are visible.

Microwave for about 1 minute (or until the center looks set).

Let cool for a few minutes, add you fav toppings (I always love vanilla ice cream + flaky sea salt), and enjoy!
