Maritozzi
I rewatched Love & Gelato on Netflix the other day & couldn’t stop thinking about how good Nonna’s maritozzi looked the entire movie (so foodie coded of me lol), & since I’m sadly not located in Rome I decided to try & recreate them at home myself 🇮🇹.
I followed the recipe on Marcellina In Cucina blog & they turned out spectacular 🤌🏼 I stored my dough in the fridge overnight instead of baking the same-day as making it since it was taking too long to rise, & then let it rise for a bit the next morning to get to room temp before shaping into 8 rolls & continuing the recipe from there.
